Here are some of the reviews customers have left:

"This is totally worth buying! The quality is very good and it's easy to put together. I put it together mostly by myself and I'm a 21yr old female with average strength and it wasn't too hard. I did have trouble tightening a couple of bolts, but that was the hardest part, and mostly just because of the position of the bolt. Most of the pieces are together already, the pieces that need greasing were already greased. It comes with the tools you need to put it together, and the hardware is separated into what you need for each step, so there's no digging around looking for the right part. As far as the elliptical itself, it's awesome."

"I have only had this a few days, but I wanted to write a quick review. This is an upgrade of the EX-57 and so far I love it. It was very easy to put together (1.5 hours) and it is very quiet. I am an active exerciser (walking/exercise DVD's), but I wanted something I could put in front of my television and this fits the bill. And after 30 minutes I am exhausted and feel great, so this is doing the job (cardio)."

"This machine is a great purchase for my entire family. It took me about 2hours to assemble and had no issues. My wife, teenage daughters, and myself have all been using it 3-4times a week for the last month, so we've given it some good use. It's quiet, solid and has good feel to it. I would highly recommend it."

"I've owned this elliptical for about two weeks. The assembly was really straightforward and only took me about an hour and a half to complete. As other reviewers stated, each step of assembly has its own package of hardware which helps make putting it together much easier. Also, all required tools are included. As for the performance of the machine, I think it's great! I hadn't ever really used ellipticals before but I am loving the workout this provides. There are 10 levels of resistance and I have only gotten to level 4 so far. The machine is very quiet, not silent, but much quieter than a treadmill. Also, there is no impact which is great for the knees. The handlebars provide a great arm workout. I find it fun to switch off powering my stride with more of my arms and then more of my legs. This is something that cannot be done on a treadmill. Also, I have to say I am impressed with the internal speakers. I have my iPod connected and the sound is actually quite good. I mean not top-quality speakers obviously but the sound is very good. I would recommend this machine to anybody. I did a lot of internet research before this purchase and I am 100 percent satisfied with my decision. The warranty is better than most competitors which is another big plus for Horizon Fitness."

Overall, the Horizon Fitness EX-59 Elliptical Trainer is a decent buy for those who want a good workout at home without spending thousands of dollars. You get a good warranty along with all the features needed to put in serious workout time in your living room or home gym. Compare with other elliptical trainers within this price range and you will find this model to be quite competitive.

Precor AMT 100i Review

Precor AMT100i Experience Series Adaptive Motion Trainer

Our Rating: 90%90%90%90%90%

Precor AMT100i Experience Series Adaptive Motion Trainer

Precor AMT 100i Review - The Precor AMT100i Experience Series Adaptive Motion Trainer is definitely worth the money. It has so many helpful features that it’d be impossible for you to not lose weight and tone your body. You can use the 4 programs; fat burner, heart rate control, interval and manual. The adaptive motion helps you better your work out, as every move can feel different so then your body won’t become used to the same old work out.

A few things I particularly like about it are the numeric keypad and tap control. It makes it easier to put in the data and the tap control makes operating the product all the more easier. And what I really find convenient is the accessory holder. It holds your water, music, etc. And the warranty is 7 years. I don’t know about you but I find that pretty good. 7-year warranty on the frame, 2 year on the parts, 1 year labor.

Here are some of the reviews customers have left:

"This machine is unique, and should be in its own class of truly variable elliptical training. The stride can be ANYTHING you make it; from stepping to full running gait to a pedaling stride. It even allows a backward pedal stride if you want to really mix up the routine. The machine doesn't control the gait. YOU do, and you can vary it any time without touching any electronic controls. You'll need to try it to really understand."

"If you can afford to buy this you will not be disappointed - hands down this the best cardio machine I have ever used. If you belong to a gym, lobby them to add this to their equipment. And especially if you love to run but had to hang up your shoes due to bad knees, this may just give you back some of those endorphin highs you used to get on a nice 5 mile run."

"So I hate most of the equipment at the gym... but I have fallen in love with this machine! It is not kidding when it says allows freedom of movement. I basically found myself dancing. It was so much fun and wow what a workout kept me at 180 the entire time. "

"First let me say that this machine is hands down my favorite out of the elliptical, treadmill, bike, stair stepping cardio genre of gym equipment. When I first used it I never thought I'd say that, but now tell anyone who will listen: "Get on THAT one!". For the past 8 months I've made major changes to both my body shape and fitness level thanks in great part to using the Precor AMT100i. It's a sturdy, commercial grade machine that offers resistance up to level 20 (more than enough for most folks) and is adaptive, meaning your stride dictates what kind of 'machine' you'll be using. For example, if you take short, up and down strides - you're doing stairs. If you lengthen your stride a tad, it's like you're doing a fast walk or jog. The third option is to push further into your longest stride which is as though you are running, but without the jarring to your joints."

Now aside form it’s features, the Precor AMT100i Experience Series Adaptive Motion Trainer is a reliable weight loss machine. It’s surely a work out that you will feel. It’s worth the money, and if you want real results, this is the elliptical trainer for you. It has everything you need to get the new and fit body you want. I recommend it 100%!

Sole E95 Elliptical Review

Sole E95 Elliptical Trainer (2011 Model)

Our Rating: 90%90%90%90%90%

Sole E95 Elliptical Trainer (2011 Model)

Sole E95 Elliptical Review - I can assure you without any doubt that Sole E95 Elliptical trainer (2011 Model) is the best model among all the Sole’s elliptical series. This model is the strongest one. It has got a capacity of 400lbs and it allows you a smooth and uninterrupted workout session. A great advantage of this machine is that it was developed according to the advice of physical therapists and sports lovers. Hence its design is suited for a comfortable workout.

I was glad to find out that unlike the other ellipticals, this model is equipped with a mechanism called a worm drive which helps us to adjust the pedal so as to avoid any injuries likely to occur on our toes. It has got various other features that will make you interested in Sole E95 Elliptical Trainer, like six automatic programs or two customizable programs, windows for resistance, incline, time, distance, calories burned, pulse and pace. This model has built in speakers and cooling fans. Another feature which I liked is the heart rate controlled workout options and the chest straps.

A life time warranty on frame and five years warranty on parts and electronics and two years warranty on labor is yet another advantage of this model. I am sure that anyone can get a Sole E95 Elliptical Trainer (2011 Model) and can a comfortable workout is guaranteed on a reasonable expense.

Here are some of the reviews customers have left:

"I did quite a few hours of research, test drove several models in the $2000 and under price range, narrowed it down to the Sole product line. I was at Dick's one day and they had the e35, e55 and e95 assembled and side by side. It was like mama bear, papa bear and baby bear. I started on the e35 and moved my way up. After doing about a minute of activity on each, the choice was obvious, of the three, the e95 was the smoothest, most stable and despite the price, in my opinion, the best value."

"The machine is great. It took me about 2.5 hours to assemble and the directions are very clear. For me using it is awesome. I am about 220 pounds and 6' tall and this thing is rock solid. It really does feel just as solid as units I have used at the gym. My wife loves it so far as well. We purchased this because my wife and I both used to run a lot and over the years my wife's knees have gotten tired of the abuse. She has said repeatedly that using this she has no knee pain and gets a great work out."

"I bought the Sole E95 a week ago. I love this machine. It was relatively easy to put together, and it offers a wide range of usage. I'm very happy with it so far. The instruction manual has good directions for assembly, program options, and general maintenance."

"After much research (reading and trying out), I decided this was the machine to get. The Sole E95 at this price point offers features and quality found in much more expensive ellipticals. I've had the machine over two months now and it is very sturdy (rated for 400lbs) and very quiet. I have no regrets and the elliptical comes with a very good warranty."

Spirit Esprit EL-455 Review

Spirit Esprit EL-455 20-Inch Stride Elliptical

Our Rating: 90%90%90%90%90%

Spirit Esprit EL-455 Elliptical Trainer

Spirit Esprit EL-455 Review - Being a consistent gym-goer, my gruelling daily evening ordeal at our local sweat shop was cut short after I was asked to put in extra hours at work. The next step was to find a hot stepper preferably under fifteen hundred $ with the capacity for heavy duty exercising. I liked the Spirit straight away since first glance. Coming back late from work, I was looking for a no-nonsense machine, which would run without complaints. My gym coach also highly recommended it.

The whole buying experience was pleasant with Amazon throwing in some discounts and freebies and delivery was smooth. Setting it up in my spare bedroom, I soon realised that my buy was a good one. My wife and elder son use it regularly and we have no complaints since the past four months. The Spirit is a very smooth elliptical with almost no jerks with a 20” stride quite close to my own.

Since it is my first, I was quite apprehensive about the racket the machine would make, and was pleasantly surprised with it’s super quiet whirring. Quite unlike the gym ellipticals. The in-built speakers are dismal but the LCD control panel is easy to operate and efficiently designed.

Here are some of the reviews customers have left:

"I do consider myself an 'amateur' when it comes to exercise. I was looking for an elliptical because frankly my only time to exercise is after the kids go to bed, and my treadmill was WAY too loud. I bought this machine after reading other reviews and honestly this has been a great purchase.I would highly recommend this machine."

"I have had the Spirit EL-455 Elliptical for about a week. So far, I am very happy with it. It works well, and seems to be good quality."

"Overall, I love it and a friend of mine ordered one right after see mine. I love the water bottle supplied with it. It is an awesome machine and I recommend it...100%"

"We bought this based on Amazon reviews and on day 3 it has exceeded our expectations. Saw the Sole E35 at Sears for $1300 and then learned on amazon that this has the same manufacturer. Ordered it on a Tuesday evening, and it arrived Saturday morning. The box and packaging are done well. The parts are heavy. We made it down narrow stairs with 2 people. The assembly was straightforward, and they included all the necessary tools if you don't have your own. It feels very solid, and it is much quieter than we expected."

The Spirit Esprit EL-455 20-Inch Stride Elliptical is a quality trainer and I highly recommend my buy. It’s value for money.

"Of the "consumer grade" elliptical trainers sold online and in some of the big box stores the E35 is one of the best. I've done a lot of research and the Sole has a smooth solid feel that many of the others (especially less expensive ellipticals) can't match."

"I recently purchased the Sole E35 2011 model after spending a few weeks online researching between the Sole, Norditrack, Horizon, and other top models. I then went and tried a few machines out at some local shops, and my choice landed on the E35."

"I researched alot when I decided to buy an elliptical and probably waited about a year to buy one. I started by reading lots of reviews. But then finally tried a few in the store, thats probably the biggest thing that convinced me to buy the Sole E35. Out of all the ones I tried this had the most comfortable feel and closest to one you would use at the gym."

"The Sole E35 Elliptical is a great product. I use it every day and it has quiet operation. I am able to really get into the workout without feeling as if I am going to break the machine."

Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer Review

Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer (2011 Model)

Our Rating: 90%90%90%90%90%

Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer

Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer Review - In this day and age, more and more people are becoming more self-aware of their bodies and more health conscious. I started investigating what’s the trend in fitness centers currently and I found out that many gym goers prefer using elliptical trainers as a way to keep fit. This review is about the Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer and how it fares as an exercise machine.

Nowadays there is a wide variety of options of different exercise machines to choose from that it makes it quite difficult for the average person to choose which one would be best to bring home. Because ellipticals are almost always compared to treadmills, at first I also realized how hard it was going to be to assess which type of fitness equipment I should buy. So I got to doing some research online and visiting sports oriented shops, and slowly I was able to identify the elliptical trainer as a workout machine preferred by most people since it not only provides excellent cardiovascular workouts but also exercises other parts of your body (such as your torso and your upper body) which usually gets left out when running on a treadmill. Here I stumbled upon the Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer, which appears to be well-sought out exercise equipment.

Deciding to Buy an Elliptical Trainer

Exercising is critical for a healthy and happy lifestyle, and knowing how to pick the most suitable exercise equipment comes next. Before you buy an elliptical trainer for your own use, here are a few things you should consider:

  • Specifications
  • Durability
  • Programmable controls
  • Pricing
  • Warranty provided by manufacturer

Most elliptical trainers found at homes and apartments are recommended for single-use only, wherein usually only one or two people get to use it at regular intervals. Awesome fitness workouts not just rely on well-planned and carefully prepared programs alone; your fitness equipment should be the right kind for your lifestyle, be sturdy and last a long time, can be configured easily anytime and gives you great value for money. Check out the rest of my review on the Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer as I go through each of these points and find out whether this is a good buy.

The Specifications

Sure, there are loads of explanations on the kind of motor used, design, flexibility and stride for every brand of elliptical trainer. The Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer is a front drive that allows up to 20 inches in stride length, perfect for young adults and seniors alike. Normally front drive elliptical trainers have limited stride length of around 15-18 inches, but the Sole E55 is certainly not lacking in this aspect. Neither is it laughable when it comes to its build, as it is composed of a full steel frame that can withstand up to 375 pounds of body weight, which is more than the usual capacity that other lower-priced models of elliptical trainers can carry. Using the Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer is a breeze, as my feet feels light on each step of the fame, making me work out harder and burn those calories faster without me realizing it. With just the right size of pedals that will neither cramp your foot nor break it for being too big for you, the Sole E55 is perfect for any size as it lets your feet adjust to the pedals thereby diminishing any possibility of foot injury. It comes with the standard flywheels, and an ECB system (eddy current brake, most recommended by health professionals and fitness experts worldwide in every elliptical trainer) used for its resistance to remove any friction with just the slightest engine sound and no loud murmurs at all.

Is the Sole E55 sturdy enough?

Ah, this is where the Sole E55 differentiates itself from the rest. Considered as among the crème de la crème of elliptical trainers, you’re sure never to stumble while walking or even running (!) on this heavy piece of exercise machinery as it is highly durable and sure to endure any force. Superior in make and build, I actually thought I was exercising inside the gym while on this thing! My movements were fluid and smooth, and my strides perfectly inclined even when I walked at a fast pace. It did not waver nor move no matter how much I try to force it to and other than the silent action of the pedals and the flywheel there was no excruciating noise whatsoever! I felt at peace and calm while doing my 15-minute workouts on the Sole E55 without worrying about wear and tear anytime soon.

Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer Control Panel

Programmable controls

The finest exercise equipment must come with a highly customizable, computerized fitness program and the Sole E55 does not falter in this aspect either. You can enter your current statistics such as your BMI (body mass index) and the target number of calories to be lost, and view your heart rate which can also be monitored through your grip as you hold the handles while you walk, timer, plus other data pertinent to your workout on a clear, LCD screen. The Sole E55 comes equipped with 10 fitness programs all for your choosing, two of which you can customize on your own plus 16 different levels for resistance so you can definitely push yourself to the limits while using this reliable, heavy duty elliptical trainer.

Pricing and Warranty

With the Sole E55 placing a premium on the quality of experience that its consumers will get with the product, this high grade elliptical trainer easily costs around $2,500 when you browse other stores. But never worry, as currently Amazon is offering a discounted price of only $1,299! Isn’t that a great deal? I didn’t even hesitate to check out all the reviews on Amazon which is where I found out how people are loving the Sole E55 when they do their own workouts. Plus this product comes with a lifetime warranty for both its frame and the brake system, along with a 5 year warranty for its parts and electronics, and a good 2 years for labor. So you don’t have to worry about encountering any problem with using it, as the manufacturer will surely come to your rescue. When you purchase your Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer you also get the following:

  • Product dimensions are 482 by 27 by 68 inches (L x W x H)
  • Weighs 265 pounds all-in-all
  • Water bottle holder, 27-pound flywheel
  • Chest strap to monitor heart rate; can also monitor through hand grips
  • Adjustable foot pedals to match your size

Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer Review

Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer

Our Rating: 90%90%90%90%90%

Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer

I have experienced getting sick lately and I know I should be getting on a fitness regimen with the whole family, so I was really interested in buying my own fitness equipment. I’ve checked countless brochures and seemingly petrified to arrive at a decision on buying something I’m not really sure of, I decided to write a brief but detailed review of the ones that caught my eye. In this article, I’ll talk about the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer including its features, the advantages and disadvantages of using it, and how well or useful it is a fitness equipment.

There are various ways of exercising like going outdoors, camping and trekking but because I have to balance my work with time I spend with my family it makes it hard for me to set time specifically for those kinds of activities. So I figured, why not check out which physical sports equipment can be purchased and follow some health regimen, albeit not as strict as I hoped. There are stationary bikes, treadmills and other hugely popular exercise machines that can be seen in gyms, but the elliptical trainer captured my fancy. When I tried every elliptical trainer I set my eyes on, I acknowledged how great it is in exercising not just your legs but by giving you a complete cardiovascular workout to lower your blood pressure and reduce cholesterol levels! I said, this is great for both me and my family as we can all try the elliptical trainer and exercise our lower body, torso and chest or upper body. This is how I got to know the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer.

What to Consider when Choosing an Elliptical Trainer

If you are planning to buy a fitness equipment, don’t just rely on what you see on TV and in the gym. It’s also helpful if you ask some of your friends who have long been going to the gym, or consult some fitness instructors; I’m sure they’ll tell you it depends on what kind of exercise you wish to pursue. For elliptical trainers to be a good buy, always remember these things:

  • Features
  • Stability
  • Programmable controls
  • Costs
  • Manufacturer’s warranty

Buying an elliptical trainer that’s meant to be used at home can be a bit tricky, so the above mentioned points are important. Some prefer lots of features, an equipment with many bells and whistles but with slightly lower quality. Others may go for cheaper equipment, which may also mean not as long lasting. Usually elliptical trainers when purchased already comes with a manual, workout programs that are standardized while some can be customized, but the real deal comes with the basic features and pricing. Most of the time consumers who get so excited after checking one brand go right ahead and purchase, then end up finding another equipment that they realize are more suitable for their taste and need. Remember that every cent counts, so continue reading this review and see whether the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer is the right equipment for you.

The Features

The brand itself is critical, and professional fitness instructors are familiar with Schwinn as a reliable brand for exercise machinery. The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer is somewhat an older of the Schwinn 420, but basically has the same exact comfort and flexibility. Similarly it also has a front drive motor running in an ECB system (eddy current brake, ideal for elliptical trainers and highly recommended by fitness experts), with a total of 16 resistance levels you can choose from. It is also capable of detecting your pulse rate through the handles, using your grip to gauge your heart beat. As is seen in other standard elliptical trainers especially designed for home use, the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer has a stride length of 18 inches, that’s just right for people within the maximum weight capacity of 275 pounds (slightly lower than the Schwinn 420). You really don’t have to understand the technical specifications, because every feature being offered by an elliptical trainer can be tested so you yourself can have a feel of how it works before you pay for it. Don’t forget that the design is not entirely to be based on the color or contours of the equipment; check out how changes in your pace as you walk feels while on the elliptical trainer.

Stability: How durable is the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer?

Although it arrived earlier than other Schwinn models, the Schwinn 430 is incredibly reliable for a home fitness equipment. Weighing at exactly 152 pounds total, the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer not only looks exceedingly elegant for an exercise machine: it is also very durable. You can be sure that it will withstand the test of time whether you’re trying it out for the first time, or been doing daily regular exercises on it for a year now. This is also one of the reasons why the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer has attracted a lot of attention from current customers to potential buyers everywhere. Along with its affordable and highly reasonable price, rest assured you’ll enjoy using this flexible piece of fitness machinery anytime at all.

Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer Control Panel

Programmable controls

Every exercise equipment needs a customizable workout program that can be configured and followed by even the most novice of users. The Schwinn 430 provides that and more, with 8 various programmable resistance levels that you can choose from, plus 8 workout programs you can follow. It also comes with an LCD screen to display important information while you’re on the machine: including your body statistics such as weight, height, heart rate, calories targeted, and BMI (body mass index). When I held the handle bars I realized it was also calculating my heart rate on my grip, so I let it show this information while I sweat away on the machine. There are also six profile programs you can select from, and it’s quite a no-brainer to brush through the manual too so I know right away how to set it up.

Is it value for money? Does it come with the Manufacturer’s Warranty

Of course! Using the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer not only provides you with wonderful workout programs you can follow and excellent features as you glide along the pedals, this product also gives you real value for your money. In fact, while most elliptical trainers and even other fitness equipment that may not allow you to get the same health benefits via a thorough cardiovascular workout are actually in a steep price range, the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer only costs around a third of these! Starting at $799 a piece, this piece of fitness machinery can be yours when you buy from certain sports outlets or fitness equipment stores. However, I browsed through different online shopping websites and found out that Amazon is actually currently selling the Schwinn 430 for only $631.75! That includes FREE shipping too, and so you’ll get a lot of savings if you decide to buy from Amazon. Plus, the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer comes with 15-years warranty for the frame itself! Add to that 2 years warranty for parts, 1 year for electronics and a good 3 months for labor, what more can you ask for? To summarize here are more of the product specifications:

Being a health buff, I’ve decided to check out the most popular fitness equipment in the market to see what’s best for me to buy. Today I’m reviewing the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer, which is a great way to exercise even at the comforts of your own home.

I always thought that looking for the best exercise machine would be an easy task. Boy, was I so wrong! For busy office workers like me or those who have not found ample time to work out outdoors or enroll in a gym, elliptical trainers are great since I’m always on the go. I can appreciate a quick 10 minute exercise on a stationary exercise equipment before rushing off. I also think it’s going to be cool for moms who usually find it difficult to spend some time sweating it out to stay in shape and take good care of their bodies, so they end up putting weight. Elliptical trainers used to be only found in gyms, but because it allows for a good cardiovascular workout it can now also be found at homes. This little investigation got me to the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer.

What to Look for When Buying an Elliptical Trainer?

I now understand that I should choose the right exercise equipment for my lifestyle and fitness goal, like it could be for improving health or losing weight per se. Similarly when finding an elliptical trainer, one should take note of the following:

  • Type of elliptical trainer
  • Durability
  • Programmable controls
  • Price and available warranty from manufacturer and store

There are many elliptical trainers meant for commercial purposes, but lower-priced elliptical trainers are meant for home use can be found as well. Remember that buying your fitness equipment is a crucial part in achieving success on your fitness goals, so make sure you read through the rest of my review for the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer to see if this is the right one for you.

The type of elliptical trainer you will buy...

...is usually based on the placement of the motor on which the machine will run. Knowing what type of elliptical trainer lets you identify both the positive and negative points of the equipment. Those with rear drive motors tend to be heftier in terms of pricing, precisely because it allows for excellent feel as your feet glide across the training equipment made of hard metal. However this requires thorough and regular maintenance since repairs may amount to a thousand dollars, and thus because of how much it costs you can find most of this type in the commercial gyms where companies have the budget and manpower to take care of these fitness machines. The Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer has a front drive motor that lets you walk at a steady pace without worrying too much about balance, albeit its body is built in both metal alloys and hard plastic, it can be counted on to perform well. Most major manufacturers release this type at a cheaper price specifically for the home market. Walking on the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer may require a specific length in stride with the wheels in front of the machine, but most people find it quite right for their size as I do.

Will it last?

This is of course a concern, as I wouldn’t want to spend around $500 to $600 for a fitness machine that will break down in less than six months! Fortunately the Schwinn 420 is strong and durable enough. There are certain times when it might appear to be a bit wobbly as I am slightly overweight but the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer supports up to 300 pounds maximum weight and trust me, the moment you step on it and proceed with your cardio program you’ll find it easy to maneuver and walk on as you grip the handles.

Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer Control Panel

Programmable controls

Elliptical trainers usually have its own workout programs readily available through their consoles for convenience, and the Schwinn 420 is no exception. It’s quite easy to figure out how to start the machine and look for a suitable program, search the manual and set your specific fitness goal (such as the number of calories you wish to burn, for example). Fiddling through the rest of the settings might be a little tricky especially if you wish to configure it just for your own special workout, but I waded through it soon after.

Pricing and Warranty

Among the coolest reasons why the Schwinn 420 is a good buy is the price. For around $800, you’ll get to perform amazing workouts conveniently at home and get a manufacturer’s warranty good for 1 year for the all parts and electronics plus 5 years for the rest of the frame, a good 3 months warranty for wear parts along with another 3 months for labor. You can actually purchase the Schwinn 420 from your nearest sports equipment outlet, but currently you can buy it just for $597 on Amazon! That’s a steal compared to the prices offered in other stores. Here’s a few more details on the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer that you might be interested in:

  • Includes transport wheels and a magazine rack (certain models may come with its own water bottle holder)
  • Actual dimensions are 41 x 39 x 15 inches
  • Overall weight during shipping is 165 pounds
  • Fairly easy to set up

  • "Very happy with our decision!"
  • "Excellent elliptical for the price!"

Points for improvement

Although there have been only a handful of dissatisfied comments about the product, most of them are noteworthy and only reflects certain aspects about the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer. For example, one buyer experienced a problem with the delivery service which is more about customer support instead of product features. Another mentioned difficulty in combining the parts with the frame and setting up the entire machine, so the recommendation was given to have at least two people help set it up. Some had misgivings about the computerized controls, nevertheless mentioned that it was fully functioning afterwards and was able to use the elliptical to their hearts’ content.

Where Can I buy the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer?

You can opt to visit well-known sports equipment stores where you can try out the product for around $800-900, but to get a great deal you can buy it directly from online shopping sites. The best offer is with Amazon where you get your Schwinn 420 for nearly half the original price! LifeSpan EL3000i Elliptical Trainer

I knew that when I first tried the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer that this was the ultimate exercise equipment for busy yuppies like me. I just fell in love with the product right away and thought it was truly worth my money that I ended up buying one for myself!

The reason why I bought the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer was because I was looking for a way to exercise at home, without the noise of the outdoors or busy people passing by, chatting inside the gym. I was never a health buff since I liked eating out a lot, but I’ve enrolled in gym classes countless times before to no avail. I think the only positive thing I got from my gym-hopping experience was that I understood which types of fitness equipment I was most comfortable using. I am not a fan of those incredibly huge exercise machines that I consider too complicated for my taste. Recently I found out I can just buy my very own elliptical trainer and do my workouts comfortably at home! This is where my research got me: the ultra-chic and secure LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer.

Buying fitness equipment? Find out these things first:

It’s not easy looking for the right exercise machine, since you have to take everything in consideration including your fitness goals, sense of well-being, and time you can devote to home workouts. Among the things I believe are critical include:

  • What the equipment can do for you
  • Does it fit your ideal workout program?
  • Does it have any existing programs available you can customize?
  • Will it break easily after use?
  • Total amount you’ll spend including any extended warranties

If you are happy with just purchasing dumbbells, jump ropes or even treadmills allow me to say that getting on the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer might just change your life. Heck, I know it did mine! I always thought that all fitness equipments are the same, even that there are no differences between treadmills and elliptical trainers. And I realized how blind I am when I learned that elliptical trainers not only exercises your legs and torso, but also encourages healthy circulatory system through an intensive cardiovascular workout, exercising even your arms, shoulders, chest and stretching those tired back muscles after long hours sitting on a desk. You’ll actually get to know more about why the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer is the dream fitness machine as you read on.

LifeSpan EL3000i Elliptical Trainer Control Panel

The LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer and its capabilities

One only had to catch a glimpse of the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer to understand why it attracts many potential buyers who are looking for a way to get fit at the convenience of their apartment units or houses. The LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer has a slick frame with a metal chrome finish that is capable of carrying weight of 300 pounds at most. With a small and compact computer LCD screen to fully register your important vital statistics (ahem, I’m referring to your pulse rate and calorie count of course), you can use the timer and choose from a variety of preset programs you can follow. You can also decide to fiddle with the controls on your own and make your own program based on your liking. Some of the workouts already programmed within the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer include sessions that mimic climbing up a hill or stairs, even a ladder; another program can lead you to first a slow and steady stride until gradually the speed increases and the distance decreases. With a stride of 20 inches that’s remarkably high for elliptical trainers designed for home use, the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer also uses a step height of 8 inches, giving you more comfort and ease of feeling as you go up and down. The grip handles can monitor your heart rate and EKG and calculate the total number of calories you have burned based on the workout program you followed. Finally, its alleviates chronic pain that most athletes or gym goers experience whenever they step on a treadmill or other elliptical trainers because it has an excellent front flywheel motor to ensure an uninterrupted workout session.

Will the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer stand the test of time?

For sure the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer can withstand even the most active of movements as you glide up and down the foot pedals. Weighing approximately 215 pounds, this bulky exercise equipment appears to match or even outsize those elliptical trainers developed for commercial use, so you can be assured that even with everyday use the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer is as reliable as the ones you see in the gym. No matter how much action my workout session incurs as it progresses I continue to stand and move well and effortless enough.

Is it expensive?

Although there are many other expensive brands, the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer is totally among the top of the class exercise machines, yet its pricing is just average for most excellent quality home trainers as most stores and distributors sell this for around $1,500. While browsing through the popular online shopping sites, I found out that Amazon actually sells this currently for only $999, with free shipping at that. That means you can save up to $500 on sturdy and very reliable equipment! Some people stick to a brand and pay higher for it; my advice is don’t be hanged up on a specific brand that may cost you an arm and a leg, yet not provide you with the same high quality that the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer can offer.

Is there a warranty?

The LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer includes a lifetime warranty for both the frame and brake.

Are customers happy?

You can say that for sure. Amazon’s reviews on the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer have customers saying great things about the product. With an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars, more than half of the customers thought they got their money’s worth with the amazing features plus cool frame design. Read what they’re saying:

The downside?

Just a few people found problems with the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer, and most arguments were on scenarios involving assembly and setting up of the equipment, and a few customers experiencing some squeaking noise with the wheels. Nevertheless more than 80% of the customers in Amazon consider it a wonderful product for an affordable price, and I can say they are satisfied with the way their workouts are going: they must be seeing positive results while using the LifeSpan Fitness EL3000i Elliptical Trainer.

Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer Review

Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer

Our Rating: 80%80%80%80%80%

Lifecore LC985VG Elliptical Trainer

Health buffs and fitness aficionados alike would be happy to learn that a surge in demand for exercise equipment have been noted for the past few years, with many people now striving to achieve a healthy diet and an active lifestyle. I should know, because I used to be one of those who thought ignorance was bliss, and was unaware of how lack of exercise can truly affect my body. The moment I realized I had to get up and exercise was when I also started to dig a little more information about home exercise machines. I’ve tried every equipment imaginable while searching for the right one, and my search has brought me to the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer.

Being a couch potato, it was hard for me to do the transition to getting more active until I stepped on the scales and my weight fluctuated ten to fifteen pounds. It was then that my resolve to keep in shape was made, and primarily why I spent time researching and reading more about proper diets, fitness regimen especially designed for your body. Exercise machines were my next priority. I scoured well-known sports establishments and asked around; I learned the pros and cons of each and every exercise machine I came upon. I was interested in something that would be easy yet enjoyable to use, with a cool and hip designed frame that does not resemble a gargantuan spider (believe me, there are lots in the market these days; I wouldn’t want to try using any of them for fear I might get crushed). Of course the price was important to me too. I tried elliptical trainers and came to a conclusion that the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer is something not only suitable for my taste, but also something I can recommend to friends and family alike.

What you need to know when deciding which exercise machine to buy

Choosing the exercise machine that’s appropriate for your body type and health goals takes a lot of time. I spent hours cruising through malls trying to decipher some technical information found on sports magazine articles and product fliers, but still realized that the best and fastest way to discern what I need is by trying out the equipment. Here are the top seven things you should ask before buying an exercise machine:

  • What is the equipment for?
  • How does it answer my fitness needs?
  • Can it help me reach my fitness goals?
  • Is the size of the equipment right for my body size?
  • Can it last long enough for regular use?
  • How much should I pay for the equipment?
  • Does it come with a warranty?

I know that having the answers to these questions for every time you try out an exercise machine will make you tired enough to throw in the towel, but believe me; in order to get your money’s worth you should be very precise about these things. You would not want to end up with a $1000 exercise machine that breaks down in less than a year without any warranty! Neither should you bother with an exercise machine that has lots of features, none of which answers your needs to meet your fitness goals. In essence, the majority of exercise machines out there can help you lose or maintain your weight, help you undergo strength training, build your muscles - but make sure that the tools you buy meet your purpose. For me, I was torn between buying an old generation of elliptical trainers, which are much cheaper in the market, and brand new models which are slightly higher priced when compared. I was dead set in getting a lower version thinking that all I need is an exercise equipment and I’ll make sure to watch my diet and all that stuff, but when I actually tried the equipment I realized there are small things that count. A good example would be comfort, considering that my feet size are too small than the average person I need foot pedals that are adjustable and can support my weight as well. Fortunately, I got to know more about the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer before I have even signed on to buy that old model.

What the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer can do

Like most home elliptical trainers, the Lifecore LC-985VG has a standard stride length of 17.5 inches, that’s just perfect for my height and legs. Using a front flywheel motor design as is the norm for newer models of elliptical trainers, it only weighs 129 pounds so it’s easy to move from one room to another. That makes it quite flexible especially since mine is left in the living room until visitors arrive and I have to carry it all the way to my room. What got me excited was that there are more than ten workout programs that are already preset and available for me to follow, and sure enough the instructions were pretty simple for me. I had a great time following the fitness programs and was happy with how I was progressing; I was sweating buckets in no time at all. There was no hissing sounds from the motor while I was using it; the engine continued to whirr without making any noise. The Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer also comes with a rectangular console where you view and monitor your pulse rate, distance, calories and other crucial workout data.

Can the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer last long?

It may seem too cute for an exercise machine especially when compared to those huge equipments found in gyms, but would you believe the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer can actually carry up to 300 pounds maximum weight? That’s a nice surprise! For something so sleek and curvy, you would not think it can carry someone twice my size. What’s also great is that the Lifecore LC-985VG has spacious foot pedals with anti-slip functionality to keep you from injury as most people who are new to having exercise equipment at home get into accidents the first few times they try to step on the elliptical trainer.

How much should I pay for the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer?

With all these magnificent features plus a very likeable nippy design, the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer is an awesome buy at around $1,200 a pop. Here’s a totally enchanting deal though: Amazon.com is offering the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer for just under $1000! That’s right! I thought my eyes were confusing me too until I checked the Amazon product page again and saw that you can now purchase the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer for just $799. This comes with free shipping too. That is definitely an offer that’s hard to resist.

Does the manufacturer offer a warranty?

Yes! The Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer comes with a residential warranty of 5 years for parts plus 1 year for labor.

What customers are saying about the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer?

Majority of the customers have expressed their satisfaction and happiness after buying the Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer.
